点评:Mainly about the jazz and early British blues groups who played on the Island. Though it does have a room about the commune/fishing aspects and the genuis inventor Trevor Baylis. It's a small museum but hugely packed.
Only £4 to get in!
I really can't recommend this enough. You ring a bell to get in and a wonderful lady gives you a personal tour and makes you a cuppa! You can play any vinyl on the decks from a fantastic selection of originals (I chose "Let it Bleed").
It's small but so much astounding detail - loved the receipts of all the bands dotted around with how much future superstars got paid and if they "didn't bring in a crowd" - looking at you Deep Purple!
If you're into 60's British rock or late 50's British Jazz this is an absolute mecca.
Well worth going down the road and taking a trip over the bridge to the actual Eel Pie Island to get some context first.
A superb museum!
