点评:My husband and I have just returned from a self-guided tour of Gran Canaria. Whilst we were very satisfied with the logistics of moving our luggage and the provision of taxis from the airport and to the bike rental shop, we were not happy with other issues - we felt that the route descriptions were not accurate enough to prepare for the endless steep climbs. Secondly, on one ride we had a split tube 22 miles from our destination and were unable to get the tyre back on the rim of the bike. We have always been able to repair punctures in the past. We messaged Lucia to explain, but were told to get in touch with the bike rental company. It was difficult to explain our location to the bike rental company - they did not use WhatsApp so I could not send a Google Maps screenshot. We waited over 2 hours for assistance and even then the driver was not a mechanic, so my husband had to change the wheel for the one provided. When we returned the bikes at the end of the tour we were charged 100 Euros for the callout.
We really feel that CycleFiesta could have helped more by co-ordinating with the bike rental company as they knew our exact location and they can also speak Spanish!
