Excessive speed, but clean vehicle

点评：I told Amaury via email that our flight to Venice from the US was due to arrive at 9.30am and we needed to be transferred to Trieste. Being an international arrival and never been to VCE, I thought it would take about 1.5 hours to clear customs, so I noted we should be ready by 11am. The driver had flight information about our arrival. Well, to our surprise, the flight arrived 35 minutes early and being a small airport, we cleared customs with our luggage by 10am. I reached the driver who said "you ordered the car for 11am, I will be there by 10.45am". He finally arrived at 10.55. Clean, nice and newer Mercedes van, as requested. The journey to Trieste was very scary. Using my GPS on my iPhone, I detected the driver going 97 mph at times without any cars approaching our speed.
Bottom line. . . although the driver was on time per my assumption and request, I feel he should have checked our flight and known VCE's typical customs clearance times and met us closer to the time we were actually ready. But this rating is based solely on the excessive driving speed which made me feel unsafe & uncomfortable.
