Bait and switch - then just straight up disrespect

点评：The worst experience ever. Tried a bait and switch with us for 2 days while we were at the Westin in Costa Rica. First dealt with a Marizio from AuthenTicotours - tried to get a sunset cruise booked - couldn't align on dates/time. Kept pushing us to book a date/time we couldn't book. Then introduced us to one of his associates at "Get Wet Pura Vida".
He then said he had dates/times available, but each time we went to pay he said it now unavailable. Finally found one, paid him cash for the deposit, but Marizio came back to us and proceeded to throw the money back in our faces and rip up our deposit receipt. It was the weirdest thing - we ended up spending our money with another company. I don't understand the entire interaction. Even worse, everytime we walked by Gustavo decided to snicker, like it was a big joke to him and Marizio.
We spent over $5K in various excursions during our time in Costa Rica, all with a different company who made it an amazing experience. I don't understand why thsee companies hassle tourists on the beach, try the bait and switch, then just disrespect everyone by throwing money in our faces and thinking it's a big joke. That is the worst way you could possibly try to run a business. I don't understand - if you can't get us a boat, just say so.
