点评：Thank you for the lovely hiking experience with Tommy! I really appreciated not talking much in the woods and calmly walking through. I wish the hike was advertised as just a hike in the woods. I still would have gone, and it would have removed the expectation of seeing moose. It is ok to just enjoy amazing jerkies, be in nature, and spotting whatever we can without it feeling like a small let down if you don't see a particular animal.
I wish we were given the option to skip or shrink time more at the museum and arrive later on the train. It made for too much time at the museum and we could have had a calmer morning. We got off the train at 10, were brought to a forestry museum and were told we would be picked up at 5. We chose to get picked up a bit earlier and our guide picked us up at about 430. Perhaps a walk through the museum to see the old buildings and bridges would have been preferable. We had a stop at the top of a mountain with a lovely view. Absolutely recommend that spot.
I think my ideal would be to just adjust a couple things. Call it a hike in the woods. Start the whole excusion maybe at 2. Walk us to the bridges at the museum with a 30 min walk around time focusing on the main floor of the first museum. Drive to the view point to eat jerkies and drink the flower juice or coffee. Then, go for a bathroom break. It was a little too long for me without one. Then, go for a 3 hour hike and a calmer drive back to the train. Tracking time seemed to be tricky. Overall, I think with these small changes I would definitely recommend some time in the Finn forrest! I loved that Tommy brought his dog. My mom can't hike anymore and was treated to a lovely drive around the forrest as well.
