点评:I purchased a ticket for a reserved seat, which from the website appeared to be a "front row" balcony seat. It wasn't necessarily close to the stage, rather in the back half of the theatre, but it appeared to be on the rail, seated. I paid more than usual to be able to SIT and to be able to SEE the Red Clay Strays. Right on the rail!! I was so psyched for this event, as I had seen them several other times in general admission and stood for 4 to 5 hours for those. I was ready to have a seat and a great view of my favorite band. MUCH to my surprise, the Roxy apparently has a money-making game whereby they sell "box seats" (tables with three chairs) IN FRONT OF THE PICTURED SEATS THAT LEAD YOU TO BELIEVE YOU ARE ON THE ACTUAL BALCONY RAILING. Fun to find out that I had multiple tables of three people in front of my balcony railing seat. Strategically placed so as to make sure that if I wanted any view of the stage, I had to STAND. Back to the game...these seats are not shown on the seating chart when you are purchasing tickets. These seats are ONLY sold day-of-the-show, on a first come, first served basis for $200 EXTRA PER SEAT - that is, on top of your already paid-for ticket price. $600 per table to suddenly be in front of all of the people who only thought they had railing seats. I know this ONLY because I asked an usher what the deal was, why my railing, higher-cost seat was not actually on the railing. She was very nice and explained that this "confusion" happens frequently, and it's just something the venue does as guests are allowed in. I expressed my extreme dismay at this BS of a seating nightmare, and she offered to get a supervisor, who was also very nice. She asked if I would consider sitting in the ADA section; I explained that I had several medical conditions that really made it difficult to stand for extended periods of time, and that I really couldn't just stand without something to lean on. She took me over to some rows of seats at the back of the theatre, calling them ADA seats. They were actually in the rows behind the gated ADA section, with an aisle between myself and the gated section. Nothing to hold onto or lean on if I had wanted to stand to see, and all I got was intermittent views of half or one quarter of the stage at any given time. I literally started crying and couldn't stop. Yeah, crazy, right? But it was just such a horrible outcome as opposed to what I had so looked forward to. It was rude and unnecessary, and it was all about the $$$. Never will I ever spend money to attend anything at this venue. Buyer BEWARE.
