点评:I usually love this type of small venue, but unless you're up on the balcony or near the front you're not going to be able to see. In most venues like this, the stage is higher to assure everyone on the floor can actually see. I watched most of the show on the dozens of phone screens being held up. The sound mixing was also terrible, but I'm not sure if that's on the venue or the headlining band. The type of bands we saw it's completely expected to be loud, but the headliner's bass was so loud that it physically hurt - not my ears, but my chest. It was jarring! The other bands didn't have that issue, and their music was equally as heavy. Also, I wish the venue would have notified us that the show was starting early. I only got to see one song from the opener, and they were my main reason for going. Super disappointing!
By the end of the show, there were a TON of sick people. It was very hot in the venue. I've seen less people throwing up at large 3 days festivals than I saw that night at this place. It was just all around a bad experience. I would avoid this place - the Masquerade is WAY better.
One positive though - the woman at the box office was incredibly nice and helpful when my Ticketmaster app kept crashing. The people working the line, not so much.
