Great cocktails, great music, lovely people running this bar.
Friends Bar的点评
点评：It initially took a little while for our family of four to visit this bar on our holiday as it always seemed packed full of people doing bingo etc. which is not really our thing.
However, we went one Sunday night when no entertainment was scheduled and we had a really great experience. We stopped for one drink on another night when a quiz night was scheduled and ended up staying for that…which was fun and well run by Keith the quizmaster. The bar was packed and there was a great atmosphere ( you need to get there early if you want a seat on a quiz night).
My teenage boys (18 & 16) used the pool table and air hockey table and noticed there was also a dart board. Plenty to keep them occupied.
The cocktails are amazing and (in my opinion) Friends bar is one of only three bars ( not including restaurants) in Kalamaki that sell really good quality cocktails that actually have alcohol in them. They are also good value when you compare the quality with the prices which range from €7 to €10.
I ended up drinking the Mai Tai €10 which should be a strong drink and certainly was…I had a few more of them for good measure and today I need ibuprofen…This is a great cocktail, I highly recommend it…although I forgot to take a photo of it.
We tried a black margarita, the Friends cocktail and a strawberry margarita daiquiri (who knew this existed) amongst others ( I refer you to the ibuprofen). All the cocktails were brilliant as was the draft Mythos which I shouldn’t have tried but did… twice…more ibuprofen…
I should say that not all the cocktails taste of strong alcohol. The balance of flavour was perfect in all the ones we tried, but in general, cocktails like Mai Tai, Zombie, Long Island Ice Tea are supposed to have a lot of different types of alcohol in them and be powerful, whereas Pina Colada etc, are generally more flavoursome and less potent. The bar tender at Friends takes pride in his drinks and it really shows.
I can’t leave a review without mention of the amazing staff that run the bar. They are so friendly (as per the name) and chatty, particularly the bar tender and the guy that greets you at the entrance, such lovely people. Whilst we were there on Sunday night they served the customers three different rounds of free shots throughout the evening.
The quality of the drinks and the friendly service was consistent during both our visits.
Thank you Friends Bar, we will be back again and I highly recommend this bar. If quiz nights and bingo are not your thing, go earlier or on a night without entertainment…or just end up giving it a go, but do make sure you go to this bar because it’s great fun with a lovely atmosphere.

最后我点了售价10欧元的迈泰鸡尾酒，这本来就是一款酒精度很高的饮品，事实也确实如此……为了保险起见我又多喝了几杯，结果今天还得靠布洛芬来缓解不适……这真是一款很棒的鸡尾酒，我极力推荐……不过我忘了给它拍照。
我们还尝试了黑色玛格丽特、“老友记”鸡尾酒，以及草莓玛格丽特代基里（谁会想到还有这种鸡尾酒呢），此外还有很多其他种类（至于后果嘛，就只能靠布洛芬来解决了）。所有的鸡尾酒都棒极了，生啤版的Mythos啤酒也是如此——其实我不该尝试的，但我还是喝了……两次……看来得再吃点布洛芬了……

在撰写评论时，我实在无法不提那些出色的酒吧工作人员。他们非常友善（名字也体现了这一点），还很健谈；尤其是那位调酒师以及在门口迎接客人的小伙子，都是极好的人。周日晚上我们在那里时，他们整晚还免费为顾客提供了三轮酒水呢。我们两次光临时，酒饮的品质以及热情的服务都始终保持一致。
