点评：Don't wait. Just book it! We had known about River God Adventures for some time and finally booked it as part of our recent safari to Zimbabwe. While we would have enjoyed the experience on any of the boats, we were on the new EOS and it is a lovely, comfortable platform to experience an incredible adventure. Highlights are being away from typical tourist camps and hotels and spending days and nights enveloped by some of the most beautiful sights and sounds Africa offers. Days can be spent , lazing on the boat, fishing and/or taking walking trips within Mana Pools National Park on land under the direction of a highly qualified and fun River God guide. Our amazing guide Guy introduced us to the beutiful birds and even brought us up close to very calm bull elephant who seemed as curious of us as we were of them. We experienced hearing lion calling at night and tracking them the next day. We did have an exciting time catching up with them and seeing them as well. There are few African national parks that allow walking tours like this. The crew was all incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful. Having lunch on a sandbar in the middle of the mighty Zambezi is a memory of a lifetime. Sundowners followed by a delicious meal all to ourselves on Chikwenya Island was absolute magic. For the angler, it would be hard to beat fishing the Zambezi for the Tiger Fish. We caught dozens of this great game fish while floating by elephant, buffalo, crocs and hippos. We also caught Bream and had them for dinner. This experience is so special thanks to the crew but also because River God is the only company allowed to operate this way inside Mana Pools National Park. Our family had an incredibly unique experience few will ever have. It's just a matter of when, not if we will return.
