Charming town but lacking a thermal water experience for visitors

点评：Acui Terme is a charming town with many historical sites. The Visitor's Center will give you a map and other guides to maximize your visit. Cute shops and cobblestone streets are winding throughout. Also, the aqueduct is a must-see.
NOTE: the thermal spas were closed during our visit in June 2024.
As the author of a book featuring thermal wellness, we were looking forward to visiting the famous thermal water spas.
However, a local told us there have been ongoing issues regarding the spas and thermal treatments. We also learned that the spa is only open from 8 am-12 noon and provides only medical services. Bathing is not offered for visitors on a general basis.
This is a shame, considering the town has been lauded for its waters since the Roman Imperium, which is clear from its name: ACQUI TERME - Thermal Waters.
But unfortunately, there were none to be had.
