Great route with plenty to see.

点评：We have done this trip and the one further north (Montford Bridge to Shrewsbury). If you want a more wilderness trip where you barely see another person, building etc then the North is the one for you. But if you want something where you can stop, have a drink in a pub, a bite to eat etc then this is the one for you.
The river was pretty quick for us so we didn't really put much effort into the actual rowing lol The weather was spot on though so we just sat taking that in, making sure we were going in the right direction. Plenty to see on the route down with a pub or cafe stop. We chose to stop and cook on a camping stove on one of the beaches.
Only thing I would say is that there were ALOT of fishermen which 90% are ok but some get a bit arsey at the fact that you exist. Just you have to pay attention to lines going across the river etc.
