点评：How bad can bad be? Try the Thorfinn. My wife and I have been diving regularly off Liveaboards for a couple of decades all over the world. The Thorfinn is one we will remember forever. But not for the right reasons. Inedible food (no cook on board, the engineer tried to cook but failed) until our friend took over the cooking. Dirty and badly maintained ship. Hopelessly understaffed (in most boats there are 15 to 20 crew, on Thorfinn there were exactly four besides the Captain who does practically nothing). Captain Lance shouts at this poor crew in front of guests and blames everything on others. Everything is in a sad state of decay. Captain Lance knows the wrecks but his hearing is going and he really should have retired many years ago as should this sad old diving platform (cannot call it a boat as it cannot move and is not sea worthy). The diving was good but mainly because we were a group of mainly technical diving instructors so could manage ourselves underwater. When it rained all the outside areas leaked even though these are supposed to be covered areas. If you like to experience "interesting" smells in the places you stay then you will be delighted by the rancid smells this boat gives off. Our room was particularly "interesting". Our room was not serviced until we asked and even then the Captain insisted it had been done and only backed down when presented with evidence (and then blamed his poor, understaffed team). This operation would not pass basic health and safety standards in most parts of the world. It seems standards are a little different in Truk. My advice, go to Truk, thrill in the wonderful diving, do not stay on the Thorfinn.
