Starcross - Exmouth Ferry的点评
点评：We did a cycle ride from Exmouth to star cross and I had checked the times of the ferry online in advance. 1610 was the last advertised ferry so we planned to return on that.. we arrived early only to see a sign saying cash only and the 1510 was the last ferry. We had ridden 16 miles and my son who was 12 was saddle sore to say the least. I asked the man if there was any way doing a bank transfer, PayPal or even if I could ask somebody else on board if they had cash and I could transfer the money to them. Everything was no, no help, no advice , no. I offered to leave my driving licence and return to pay later in cash. No. We had 3 minutes before the last boat left so no chance to do anything. What was meant to finish off a great day was spoilt by an arrogant man with no customer service ability. I have no issue with anybody taking cash however he said you’ve seen it online it’s on the website( I hadn’t) he didn’t mention that his website was wrong in terms of times though. Why not offer both options and if it’s by card it will cost slightly more to cover your costs or are you after cash only for perhaps other reasons?? Anybody who had any desire to promote their business would have maybe ( note to owner here) suggested other options such as … there is a train back, you can withdraw cash at ….. . Nothing . What an absolute disgrace. If you hate your work and people that much give up. Arrogant ,& ignorant, if you have another option avoid this company at all costs , give your money to charity or use the train rather than giving it to this miserable sea dog.
