点评:A small weekend market in the SAN kAMPHAENG area that has many stalls and shops selling mainly handmade items and clothes on Saturdays mornings till 2pm. Go if you find JJ Market too crowded and commercial. People are friendly and prices are slightly on the high side. I bought a hand embroidered jacket for Baht 3,600 but was totally happy with it because the embriodery were on both front and back and one of a kind. Patchwork clothes featured in a local designer’s stall. There are makeshift stalls in addition to the little shops in the shady area. Most of them are creatively decorated and the use of recycled materias was a consistent theme. There os a small selection of food and drinks. In the area is an excellent restaurant called Meen Rice Based Cuisine. I believe it has a Michellin bib. A great way to spend the weekend in Chiangmai in this charming market.
