Parque La Muralla的点评
点评：One of the reasons one visits Mijas Pueblo is for the spectacular views of the coast from this village of white buildings nestled in the mountains. There are many places to enjoy this spectacular view all over the town.
One such is the Mirador del Paseo de la Muralla, a viewpoint on the southern side of the town near the Iglesia Inmaculada Concepcion and the Plaza de Toros de Mijas. It is built on top of the remnants of ancient walls originally designed to protect the town. Now they serve as a base for a series of viewing platforms and connected walkways that provide one with a spectacular view of the Mediterranean Sea and the costal towns of Benalmadena and Fuengirola far below.
This is more than a walkway and viewpoint though, the Muralla is integrated into the Parque Botánico de La Muralla a botanical garden with a wide variety of lush vegetation. There are also several crevices in the cliffside, some occupied by birds and others with waterfalls for if and when one tires of the view over the coast.
Getting to the Mirador del Paseo de la Muralla is easy. One can take public buses from either Torremolinos or Benalmadena (M110 or M121) or Fuengirola (M222 or M122) to the centre of town then walk a short distance to the upper end of the town where the Church and Auditorium are.
