点评：Visited the Fans Museum after being recommended it whilst visiting Sunderland to see Portsmouth play. It’s free to enter, but donations are obviously accepted either on line or there.
Well, what a place! Upon entering around 1pm it was fairly full of home fans, but not once did I feel uneasy.
Everyone was very welcoming and the memorabilia on show was amazing.
I spoke to the guy (apologies I forgot your name) in the photo at length who explained the concept and history to me. To summarise the staff are volunteers and all profits raised go to very worthwhile local charities such as dementia, men’s mental health, homelessness etc…
Drinks prices are very reasonable, the history in the building which is an old train station, is very impressive, so I highly recommend a visit here. I would advise arriving at least 2 hours prior to kick off, as it’s very popular.
Well done to all involved and I will see you again next time we play each other. Thank you for allowing us entry to such a fabulous place.
