点评：You’ve never had too many birthdays to try something new…my hubs Jim had a birthday this week so I invited him to an “outing” yesterday with instructions, “Bring your swimsuit, sandals and sunglasses.”
We rented a jet ski for a half day on Lake Jocassee SC. Big, big fun!
Rental process was easy peasy, and a crew member met us at the appointed time at the dock. (We were given complete instructions, map to download, including where to park, beforehand). Jason gave us complete safety and operating instructions, PFD’s, and off we went! The lake has crystal clear water surrounded by the Jocassee Gorges and mountains where we encountered rock walls, small spits of sandy landings and still blooming mountain laurel. The waterfalls were the highlight of finds. Jim and I ride his motorcycle 2-up so he was a natural on the watercraft. We were amazed at the size of the lake, lack of crowds and its pristine beauty. He said several times, “This is such a blast and beautiful at the same time!” I’d say it was a day to remember.
