Summer break on Monmouth and Brecon canal

点评：Me and my mum and our dog spent a week pottering along this beautiful canal in one of castle narrow boats electric boats. We arrived full of nerves and trepidation having never been on a canal boat before and with a crew member down, as they dropped out a few days before, we were very worried how we would cope . But Nick, Sharon and Joe immediately put our minds at ease . There introductory brief is very through but everything they tell you is written down in a binder on board that you can refer too should you need to, there is also a page in the binder with contact numbers you can call if you get really stuck . The boat its self was small but perfectly formed , beds clean and comfortable , and all the amenities you would need . There are a number of small shops along the canal to buy groceries if you want to cook for yourself it also plenty of pubs if you don’t !! Caste narrow board really went above and beyond to ensure our trip was as pleasant and stress free as possible . We will deffo be back.
