Excellent, one of a kind experience

点评：Enjoyable, informative, entertaining experience. With a great sense of humor, and a relaxed, friendly manner, our host and captain Simon provided the background on the history of the past fishing culture of the Tusket Islands. We boarded his boat and motored out to one of the islands where his family owns cottages. Simon invited questions and provided insights unique to the area and its' people. We relaxed in his cottage for a bit. He showed his talents as a musician for a few songs, then served us homemade seafood chowder, which will now serve as the high standard for future chowders! Overall, this was an excellent, one of a kind experience. The singular asterisk, which did not detract from my experience, was that he apparently used a dock closer to the destination island, different from a dock he usually uses, which required us to ascend and descend a long, rusty, vertical ladder to access the boat. In all fairness, he did ask us the day before if we could use a ladder, but for a few of our fellow travelers I was concerned.
