点评：The Tower of the Sun was the symbol of Expo 70 and is on the opposite end of the city from Expo 2025. The Expo 70 site is now Expo 70 Commemorative Park. I walked around the park and saw where the pavilions used to be when I first visited it in 2018 with my friend. They had just restored the Tower of the Sun that year and you needed reservations to go inside. That is why we made a reservation for this year. It was pouring rain and we got thoroughly soaked walking from the monorail station to the tower.
You enter the tower at the bottom and the first exhibit you see is the "Sun of the Underworld". The main exhibit was the "Tree of Life". It is 41 m/135 ft tall and features 33 species from singular celled organisms to Cro-Magnon man. (You are only allowed to take photos from the ground floor.)
