点评：This was a fun trip but it had its issues for me. I’m a beginner and wanted to learn as much as possible. They had photos of the various gems you might find: rubies and sapphires as well as citrine, and carnelian, among others. After cleaning about 7-8 buckets and finding some small pieces I asked about the citrine and carnelian. The first worker (owner?) basically said it’s a ruby and sapphire hunt. So, after he changed shifts with the next guy, I asked the new guy about citrine and carnelian. He basically blew me off and pointed to a pile of rocks and said there was some in there. I went over and picked up what I thought was citrine and asked about the carnelian. Same place he said, barely acknowledging me. At this point, I realized he’s not going to get off his lazy rear and help me. He actually fell asleep. Customer service out the window. There were two more people there at the time, John and Melissa, who were more helpful. I should have asserted myself, but that’s not me. Oh yeah, the sleepy head closed at 5 pm after the first guy said they were open until 6.
