I ended up on Aconcagua almost by chance, following a recommendation from a guide in Bhutan. It was the best decision I could have made. I chose Maximo Kausch and Andes Specialists, and the experience exceeded all expectations.
The Organization: Maximo is incredibly experienced. Every single detail of the expedition was meticulously planned, and the entire logistics ran flawlessly. His presence inspires total confidence and motivates everyone in the group.
The Team: Our guides were exceptional—always professional, helpful, and ready to answer any questions. We had a wonderful group dynamic (half Brazilian, half European), blending warmth and openness with determination.
The Experience: While reaching the summit (nearly 7,000m) was a personal milestone, the true value of this trip was the friendships we formed. Maximo and his team create an atmosphere where the journey is just as rewarding as the peak itself.
If you are looking for a reliable, professional, and inspiring agency for Aconcagua, I cannot recommend Andes Specialists enough!
