点评：Stayed for two nights with my family at one of the cottages. At first glance, it seems luxurious however, there are a few things about the cottage that needs to be highlighted and attention to detail if you are going to charge the prices you do. Firstly, in the bedroom downstairs, nearly every socket is loose (why?), the toilet in the ensuite moves when you sit on it so you can imagine how annoying it is, the cabinet top beside the sink in the ensuite is severely damaged and looks nasty. Seriously, this small cabinet has seen better days and should be thrown out! The tap in the sink is an open waterfall type tap which means water sits in and around the spout when it is turned off and there is green limescale here which looks terrible. The dishwasher door does not open and close without moving the kickboards below and the sponge that was provided looked new however when I put the sponge in water there was suds coming out of it therefore, not a brand new sponge. We didn't spend too much time in the cottage and I didn't inspect any of the other rooms except for my bedroom, ensuite and kitchen therefore cannot comment further on the other rooms. One thing to be aware of is if you are returning to the cottage late, you have to park in the car park and walk up to the cottages. Its not far however, there are no lights until you are close to the cottages and it is pitch black. On the first night we arrived at the cottage, the cottage was very cold and we couldnt put the heat up (I know it mentioned to contact someone to do that but why isnt there a control for guests to do it themselves?), the ensuite window was left open all day before our arrival so that added to the cold factor, it was very cold on both days in the cottage. On the plus side, the kitchen is well stocked, biscuits, tea & coffee is left for you and our bed was comfortable. Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am which I feel is too early. Overall, it was an ok stay but not for me.
