Good setting and you have a garden centre to browse round, limited breakfast choices..
Ashton Hall Garden Centre的点评
点评:Visited Ashton Hall Garden Centre’s Pear Tree Café for breakfast. Ordered two Lancashire breakfasts, as can be seen on the menu there is no small breakfast offering. We ordered and paid for them at the till, then it was waiter service. It is not the cheapest of breakfasts and not for people and families on a budget and is a limited breakfast menu. The atmosphere is very much an open area designed for space rather than comfort. Dogs are allowed and there are child high chairs available. It is relatively wheelchair friendly. The staff were friendly and efficient. There was a wait for the order to be delivered, could be because we were their just as they had opened. The food arrived on warm plates, and for once we were surprised with some of the offering on the plate, at long last we got tomatoes cooked properly and tasty, the bacon was excellent and so was the egg (there was a choice of fried, poached or scrabbled), hash brown, toast and the sausages were reasonably tasty not the worst we have been served with, the black pudding was only average with one side being a hard crust but the mushroom was good, for us better than being served button mushrooms. The beans were not good, just something about the taste we couldn’t put our finger on it what, edible but not the best. Also the sachet of tomato sauce tasted of smoked sauce, not pleasant.
