点评:My boyfriend is a member & I am not, as always we went there by car and on the gates the lady told us that now they charge the parking fee per person (non members only, as nembers are still free), not per car (so if there are 4 non members in the car, multiply the parking fee by 4). She also gave us some silly reasoning why - such as people park their cars there and do shopping in the town center.. (It's not bluewater, love?! What shopping!!!). Well we did have a free National Trust voucher out of the newspaper for me, this made her happy so we didn't have to pay parking for the passenger this time. Bare in mind the entry is free if you come there by walk. However I think it's disgusting and I know probably hard to believe. You could tell she was embarrassed to tell people that information, poor her (clearly the new "smart" policy of National Trust). The policy might be canelled at some point (I hope so as it's extrememely ridiculous), but if I was going there as a family of non members, I would give them a call before I left. Hope someone finds this useful.
