Clans And Castles的点评
点评：My friend and I toured Scotland for two weeks in the company of two wonderful guides from Scottish Clans and Castles. The tour was limited to the two of us, and specifically developed for us. Tom was our guide for the first week and Kate for the second. Both were very personable and knowledgeable. Our tour was entirely planned by Diana Gray, and took us all over Scotland, from Edinburgh through the Borders to Flodden Field
and Hadrian’s Wall. Then we traveled north via Inverness, to Brora and Dornoch where we toured Ousdale Broch, Dunrobin Castle. We then drove west through the Highlands, to Acharcle, where we stayed at Mingarry Park, and explored the western Highlands. We walked on Sanna Beach, and drove through Glen Coe. Driving back east to Edinburgh, we toured Stirling Castle and Traquair House. We covered a couple of thousand miles and the above are just a few of the things we did and saw. The entire trip was filled with history and beauty. Diana had also arranged for our hotels, which were great, and made sure we had dinner reservations each evening. It was the trip of a lifetime.
This was the third time that I have toured Scotland using Scottish Clans and Castles. In 2016, I took the Outlander tour with my husband. This is a small group tour, limited to 7 people, plus a guide, and includes several of the sites where the show was filmed.
In 2017, I took the Outlander Fanatics tour, a similar tour, which visits additional film sites. Each of these tours was great as well.
I strongly recommend Scottish Clans and Castles for either a preplanned packaged tour or a private tour. They are terrific!
