点评：An ideal vacation spot for friends and family in the “Main Line of Philadelphia” and some from New York. Generations of families have summered here and brought their friends. Everyone is welcome to rent a home or stay at a couple of Inns all owned by the "few." It is the only way to enjoy the town’s many amenities in this stunning, unspoiled beauty, surrounded by thousands of acres of pristine forest. You will need a pass from the inn or the association to swim, boat, or enjoy the golf course.
While anyone can visit Eagles Mere, many of the community’s best amenities (its lake, tennis courts, hiking trails, and country club, to name a few) are only open to those that are members of the Eagles Mere Association. Fortunately, however, becoming a temporary member is quite easy, which makes this a fantastic family vacation destination.
Temporary membership is open to those either renting a home within the borough or staying at the Eagles Mere Inn. The great thing about the inn is that the cost of temporary membership ($240 per week for a family of four and up from there for larger groups) is included in your room rate at the Eagles Mere Inn.
