点评：Ushanka was our driver and guide for our two week trip to Sri Lanka in 2024. We could not recommend him more highly and he went above and beyond at every stage to cater to our needs and ensure we had the best possible trip. As someone who has travelled extensively independently I was reluctant to have a ‘guide’ as I thought the trip might feel formulaic and that we would have no autonomy over how we spent our days. In fact, it was completely the opposite. Ushanka listened to what we wanted to do and took us to places well off the beaten track which were entirely in line with what we wanted. A particular highlight for us all was a climb up to a deserted waterfall where we could swim safely and have our toes nibbled by fish. I trailed behind on the descent, and found Ushanka sitting outside a tiny hut, watching my (sometimes fussy) 11-13 year olds devouring dhal and roti freshly cooked by an elderly couple. The kids declared this the best meal ever. When we wanted to change accommodation (that we, not he, had booked) he managed to find us something perfect at short notice. When we wanted to go snorkelling but the cost was over budget, he found a cheaper alternative. He clearly loves kids and was brilliant at interacting with ours who are the same age as his. Always cheerful and a real can do attitude. We cannot recommend him more highly.
