Gettysburg Battlefield的点评
点评：Two adults visited the Gettysburg Battlefield on a Wednesday afternoon in late December 2023 specifically to drive the free NPS auto tour. We had previously been to the NPS Visitor Center and Museum (not to be missed) but had not had time to drive the battlefield. Well, the free NPS auto tour is very well done and consists of a paper map from the Visitor Center and a download of the NPS app onto a smartphone and just following the audio guide through 14 of the 16 stops (two are under renovation). The entire tour takes a couple of hours but was excellently done. Note there are other commercial auto tours you can purchase that evidently include more detailed explanations but we were satisfied with the NPS one. The app also has an additional three tours available including walking Cemetery Ridge and the National Cemetery and a short auto tour of the East Calvary Battlefield. You really can't go wrong with this free tour but can also later opt for one of the paid ones.
