I expected better scenery

点评：Staff were very welcoming and friendly.
The entire ride lasts about two hours and it is not a loop. Of those two hours, about one hour is spent waiting to cross the road in both directions while all the carts are connected together so traffic can be stopped safely. There is also a 30-minute stop at the end of the tracks, where there is a small resting area by the river (no access) with chairs to relax and recharge before taking the exact same route back to the starting point, plus one additional short stop along the way. There are no bathrooms at the turnaround point.
The seats also become quite uncomfortable after a while.
One seat controls the brake and is responsible for charging about 70% of the motor power. Once you stop pedaling, the motor stops charging, so you have to keep pedaling almost the entire time.
I love the concept and, overall, it was a nice experience. However, I was expecting more impressive scenery—something unique that you wouldn’t normally get to see and that would have a real “wow” factor.
In comparison, taking the Metro-North train along the Hudson River is much cheaper and offers far more spectacular views.
For me, this was a one-time experience. The scenery itself wasn’t particularly memorable. About half of it is what you already see while driving to the location, and the other half passes through wooded areas and a residential neighborhood with “Quiet Please” signs—which feels ironic since the carts themselves are fairly noisy.
In the end, paying for views that are very similar to what you regularly see didn’t feel worth it to me.
