A great asset for Broome and Cable Beach
Broome Explorer Bus的点评
点评：Broome Explorer Bus is the only "public" bus in the town, so is an important option for tourists and locals who don't/won't drive.
Due to "mechanical issues", it was running once an hour (compared to twice an hour normally in peak season). With some careful planning, and once I got my head around the route map, it was pretty straight forward. It was no more than 10 mins late on any occasion.
The bus itself is a standard public bus, but there were some which didn't have air-con and became quite stuffy. It can also become quite crowded with standing room only, but is hard to predict.
Tickets are only bought on-board, so it can cause delays at each stop - a conductor or an online option would be a great improvement to timeliness and efficiency.
The bus also has a pre-recorded audio playing with facts about the town and locations we go past. This was helpful for announcing stops - but it wasn't playing on all occasions, which meant I had to pay more attention to where I was going via my phone.
Overall a great, efficiency way to get around - but important to plan ahead and have a plan B.
