Overall I still find it lacking, some things are better, some worse

点评：Some years ago I went quite a few times, with varying success. The buffet meal was quaint but having to queue was a downside so I was looking forward to the table service. The main problem in the past was the quality of the productions which varied from very average to very poor, with some of the acting well below amateur productions.
This time the dinner was ok though the choice is quite limited considering the cost of the meal, the service was good. The downside of the meal was the wine, had a glass of the pinot noir, very average so tried glass of the merlot, terrible, should have refused to accept it especially at nearly £10/glass.
My friends described the production as hilarious so I went with high hopes. It was quite entertaining and amusing, but I wouldn’t go as far as hilarious and I wasn’t alone in this; at times ripples of laughter happened but it never rose above that. The acting was much better than I remember from before though the two actors playing the daughters seemed to lack the ability to present punch lines well; timing not perfect, speech not clear with key words.
After my previous visits I said I would never go again, this was better than that, but not such that I feel a need to rush back soon.
