A slight disappointment.
St Albans Museum + Gallery的点评
点评：I visited the St Alban's Museum and Gallery with a friend in November last year and while I found some of the displays interesting and I enjoyed visiting the cells in the basement, I was mostly disappointed. The museum has some nice displays on the history of tea, for instance, but what is distinctly lacking is a section about the history of the city. Having visited St Alban's Cathedral, St Martin's Church and Verulamium Roman Museum, I'm convinced that there's a lot of interesting history about St Alban's that the museum could have covered. My friend and I expected to spend around an hour in the museum but we only spent half an hour there as we preferred to set aside more time to see the other interesting sites in the city. We didn't visit the cafe and we didn't spend more than five minutes in the shop but, especially bearing in mind that there's no entry fee, I think it's still worth checking out the museum as you may find it more engaging than we did.
