Land Tours - Passeios的点评
点评：I would highly recommend Land Tours in Sao Jorge. It is a family owned business and Jaime and Nuno could not have done more to make our experience on Sao Jorge memorable. We had a beautiful tour of the island including stunning view points, the cheese factory and coffee plantation. It did not feel rushed at all and we enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant with the Portuguese family on the same tour.
The following day we did the hike from Serra do Topo to Santo Cristo and then on to Faja dos Cubres with Nuno. It was a little foggy at the top but then had stunning views all the way. We are not very experienced hikers but managed the trail without much difficulty as the conditions were perfect (suspect it might be slippery in the rain). We really enjoyed our packed lunch at the waterfall and were then able to have coffee and a cold drink at a small bar in Faja de Santo Cristo. The swim in the lagoon at Faja de Santo Cristo was a great chance to cool off and we were surprised to find toilets and showers next to the church which were very useful! The last part of the hike is along a well marked track and easy except for a few short ascents. We were then collected at Faja dos Cubres by Jaime.
On our third day we did a fabulous boat trip on Jaime's boat along the coastline. It was so lovely to have the experience of being out on a small boat and we were able to see all the coastal villages. We were also able to swim at a small cove and Jaime is an expert at snorkelling.
This company are extremely professional and reliable and I would definitely recommend booking one or more of their trips!
