great views and artifacts that serve as art

点评：This park has excellent views of Manhattan, all the way from the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges, the SOL, One World Trade, ESB, Chrysler Building, and the UN, etc. Clear unobstructed views from a clean walkway. I also love the manufacturing plant artifacts - so unique and awesome. BUT why in heaven's name did they put zero signage with info about what we are looking at or the history of the Domino Sugar plant?
The Domino Sugar factory is an iconic landmark we used to see driving down the FDR on our was to Grandma's apartment in Brighton Beach. It's wonderful that it's finally been repurposed and some of the history has been preserved. I hope the powers that be eventually post some info about the history of the building and the very cool artifacts that serve as the art in the park.
Also a nice plus is there is an indoor bathroom and drinking fountains. If I lived in Williamsburg I'd definitely hang out there.
