Redding Civic Auditorium的点评
点评：Saw a comedy show here earlier this spring. It's not an overly large facility, with a capacity of only a couple thousand, but there's really not a bad seat in the place. Even from our seats off to the side and up in the balcony (see photo), we had a great view of the stage. Leg room wasn't great in those balcony seats, but I've had worse at other venues.
There's a concession stand, a few vending machines, and they had also set up some tables where alcohol was being sold; everything was way overpriced, but that's to be expected.
The only kind of annoying thing was that if you got there too early, you had to stand around on the concourse because the auditorium doors hadn't opened yet. That seemed relatively normal, but then once the doors *did* open, we still got yelled at for going in and were asked to come back out. If there was some special instruction that only certain people were allowed to go in at that point, it wasn't made clear.
Other than that, it was a great experience. I live in southern Oregon, so it was great to have Redding just a couple hours' drive away; most of the time, seeing a show like this means going to Portland.
Pro tip: if you're driving your own car and parking at the auditorium, I'd recommend backing into your parking space. We noticed several other people doing this and decided to copy them, and it made it immensely easier to get out when the parking lot was really congested after the show.
