Cheese Making Tour

点评：We came here as part of an optional excursion on our Viking River Cruise.
It was a very pricy add on. Something like $AU170.
For that we got a short tour of the cheesemaking facility. Unfortunately they weren't in the process of actually making any cheese so there wasn't much to see other than the Cheese storage which was impressive with so many cheese wheels going up to the roof.
The tour guide was very knowledgable about the cheesemaking process but not particularly friendly.
At the end of the tour we got to sample three small cubes of cheese which I felt was kind of laughably small. The cheese was tasty but such a small bite. If you want to have a glass of wine it is an additional cost and then you get the privileged opportunity to purchase some cheese which is pretty costly as well.
So on the whole it mostly felt like a money making scheme. If I had known what was actually included I would never have shelled out so much money. I had thought we were going to actually get to make some cheese for that cost. Silly me.
