点评：My husband and I went for the Dean Dillon tribute show...which was advertised with George Strait as the headline. The ads also listed Vince Gill, Sammy Kershaw and Cole Swindell as acts on the show. We traveled from out of state, so in addition to ticket costs, we paid hotel and travel expenses. We get there, parked and seated rather easily. Parking was only $10. We were in our seats an hour prior since we got a notice that George was opening the show. Several people in our area also came because of George. When it started, we were given instructions on how to clap etc.. Because what they neglected to say was basically, we paid to attend a taping of a televised event. It was not anything like a concert. George, the "headline" sang 2 songs...and not even the biggest Dean Dillon hits he had...other lesser acts got to sing the biggest hits. Vince Gill, Sammy Kershaw and Cole Swindell never even performed. So that was false advertising. People were duped, it was a bait and switch. While Dean Dillon ABSOLUTELY deserved this honor, many people attended for the acts and would not have attended if this had been accurately advertised. In this economy, things like this are a luxury for people...and would have saved the money and watched it on TV if it had all been advertised TRUTHFULLY. It was the highest grossing event at VBC....and all because people were lied to and taken advantage of....good for you VBC.
