Highly recommend sailing school

点评：Cannot recommend ProSailing Malta school highly enough, not long returned from a fantastic one week day skipper course after completing theory online.
Booking was very straightforward and Marie Claire was super helpful with any questions, all info required and arranging payment and theory etc.
Starting the course in May we had some unusually bad weather on the first few days which seems rare at this time in Malta however Robert made the most of the situation taking us out into some safer sheltered areas within the harbour lots of tacks and jibes, MoB, parking, experience with higher winds and bigger swells. The weather eased on day 3, feeling well prepared for the next few days we set off with some great wind on an overnight trip to Gozo(this part is not to be missed) anchoring in the blue lagoon and some night sailing from Gozo marina.
Robert's relaxed style to coaching made learning very enjoyable, he genuinely wants you to enjoy the experience in addition to the learning. He was very patient with me considering I hadn't sailed since a comp crew course several years ago and I left the course feeling so much more confident on a yacht.
The yacht Dovecote was spacious, comfortable and extremely well maintained, safety was always a priority and the lunches made by Roberts mother were excellent, I would return just for the lunches.
Thanks so much to Robert and his family for an amazing experience, this is a great family run business and I would highly recommend for anyone looking to compete a sailing course in nice weather and a beautiful country. This trip really got me wanting to do more sailing, hope to see you all again, maybe coastal skipper next 👍.
