点评:What an amazing place....where we walked from the pay area outside and round a corner the grandeur of the Hall is right there in front of you. Its accessed via a little courtyard where there are toilets and 2 cafes.
As we entered via the bridge over the moat we were greeted by 2 ladies and 1 in costume who explained a few bits about the hall.
At 11.15am a bell was rang and this was to signal that a talk was to take place in the courtyard (free of charge).
The lady in costume who we believe was called Teresa was brilliant, very informative and funny and she gave everyone an insight into the history of the hall.
After the talk we went inside the hall and the gardens and enjoyed looking around.
Before leaving we bought 2 pieces of cake and 2 iced lattes from the takeaway cafe and sat in the garden in the shade. There is also a cafe where you can sit inside too.
Such an enjoyable 2-3hours spent.
