Possibly the best holiday we’ve ever had
Drifting Wood Canal Breaks的点评
点评：What can I say to do this holiday justice…
From start to finish, our Drifting Wood Canal Break was wonderful. We hired The Mighty Oak and took a 6 day trip to Llangollen.
The most important thing to mention is Laura and Dana, who are the friendliest and most helpful boat owners you could wish for. They taught us everything we needed to know about navigating the canal and the boat itself before setting us on our way. Making sure to let us know that they were at the other end of the phone if we needed them (which because of their excellent tuition and very helpful folder on board we didn’t).
It felt like we were borrowing a boat from real people rather than hiring one from a company. We definitely didn’t see a prettier boat all week (except from when we went past and waved lots at Acorn boat).
The boat was super comfortable and very easy to live in as a family of 4 adults and a teenager. It was so lovely spending time with my children (15-20yrs) watching them gain confidence at mooring up and generally getting involved with the days boating. My dog had the actual time of his life!
I’ll be honest, it took a day or two relax in to it and feel confident driving the boat but once we had there was honestly nothing better. We met such nice people on the way and the 2 hour queue at a lock was actually one of my holiday highlights -we got to know all the other people on their boats and compare stories.
I’d recommend Drifting Wood to everyone. We are already looking at when we can go again.

说实话，我花了一两天时间才适应，并自信地驾驶船只，但一旦我们适应了，真的没有什么比这更好的了。我们在路上遇到了很多好人，在船闸前排了两个小时的队实际上是我假期中最精彩的部分之一——我们认识了船上的其他人，并互相交流了彼此的故事。
我向所有人推荐“漂流木”。我们已经在考虑什么时候可以再去一次了。
