Absolutely awful now!
Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre的点评
点评：This was our 4th year camping here, it was always busy and bustling with excited kids. I used to call it purpose built for the older children. Both my grandchildren were excited and rightly so it was brilliant for them socially. Well when we pulled into the campsite it was incredibly quiet, too quiet. It was like a ghost town. It’s not been kept up to and was very tired. Play park looks like something from the 80’s. The climbing wall is overgrown and scruffy. The toilets were always clean, not now. The toilet roll was so tight in the machine that you could only get half a sheet at a time. Impossible for children! Mucky mop buckets. So sign of a cleaner whilst I was there. Because it was so dead all you could hear was the busy motorway which we never noticed before with the sound of 100’s of happy children. Not anymore. The grass has basically turned into soil sand. You can also hear the very noisy washing machine which sounds like a marching drum, not a melodic one at that! Informed upon booking that I had a disability and this morning when I packed everything away I had the ‘ranger’ pull up and inform me that if I didn’t move I would be charged. I reminded her again about my disability and that I was just trying to clear my boot. There was 2 tents there when we left! What an absolute waste
of space of what was a fantastic little spot. Now it’s just a dry field with no soul. Who ever manages it need a shake up and fast. Awful, awful experience.
