Mt. Senkoji Ropeway的点评
点评：To get the best possible view of Senkoji Park & the surrounding one would head to the summit of Mt. Senkoji. While the mount is short enough that most tourists should have no problem climbing to the top for the views without the use of the ropeway. For those not wishing to hike there the ropeway or cable car that gently whisks you to the top. .. The 361m ride offers an amazing 4+ mins views of the beautiful surrounding, esp in spring with cherry blossom. Do look out for the 360 degrees of Onomichi city, including the large camphor tree of Atsushi Shrine, the three-storied pagoda of Tenneiji Temple, and Senkoji Temple itself!
There are multiple paths heading up the mountain as well, so walking both up and down gives you the opportunity to explore different ones. For us we healed some Youtubers advice that we bought 1-way up trip and decided to walk slowly down to appreciate more! Great walk down through temples and paths between traditional homes on the steep hillside. There's the beautiful natural rock features and houses underneath us on the ascend. It also offers a paranomic view across the islands, and inland sea toward Shikoku
