Niseko Tokyu Grand HIRAFU的点评
点评：Grand Hirafu is the largest resort in Niseko United. It is located between Hanazono and Niesko Village. There is a small town area with lots of restaurants and accommodation near the base, which made it quite accessible.
There are two base areas: The eastern side (towards Hanazono) with the King lifts, and the western side (towards Niseko Village) with the Ace lifts. Both sides have a building where you are able to get the passes, hire gear or do the snow school. You are able to buy a pass online and collect it at a ticket machine at the base. The sides are mirrored, with a beginner lift, a gondola and then two sets of chairlifts to get to the top of the mountain. The gondolas run for night skiing. You are able to get from the top of a gondola to the base of the other gondola fairly easily There are also a few on-mountain dining areas close to both gondolas.
The terrain is quite mixed and changes depending on the lift you take. The snow is generally quite nice and powdery, particularly in the trees. It has the largest selection of riding areas of the four fields in Niseko United. The top lifts were closed when I was there but there were still quite a lot of runs along the other open lifts. It is fairly easy to move between the different Niseko United Fields, and the lifts give information on closing times so that you don't get stuck on he wrong side.
Both gondolas were quite busy throughout the day, so there was usually a line. It wasn't too bad for the other lifts. It is definitely worth a stop if you are riding Niseko.
