点评:Sadly, we would not recommed Yunokuni no mori, we visited it earlier this year and had been excited to go as the reviews seemed very positve and we love seeing (and sometimes doing) different crafts and watching artists work. Unfortunately that was not what we discovered here. I have nothing against any of the workers or the stores here, but it all felt quite prepackaged. The experiences we'd read about where you could do a craft class / create an item yourself - when we saw what was actually on offer in each building we were disappointed with the items that you had the option to create, definitely not something we would pay to do, we are not artists ourselves but honestly it was quite basic. As far as the items that you could purchase in each building, they were mostly items that had not been created here by artists, but were obviously purchased from stores etc, then sold in the Yunokuni no mori stores because they fit the theme of that store. I'm sure some of it was handmade, but most of it felt like it was produced en masse.
If you're already in this town, then visiting for an hour or so would be fine. But for us, we travelled an hour each way to get here because we had thought it would be enjoyable to wander around for a few hours and see various forms of Japanese art and how it is created. But it was essentially just a collection of souvenirs stores.
