点评:I go here at least once a year as my getaway from the city. Last year, unfortunately, almost the entire beach was blocked off for an international frisbee (flying disc) tournament, so normal patrons were relegated to small patches of sand at either end of the beach. The tournament members were also loud and obnoxious for the duration of the event, which lasted several days. If you want to enjoy this beach, you can check the city's event webpage and it will list any public events during the year. Local shops are worth visiting, such as the ramen restaurant in front of the beach, as well as a few restaurants on the Ginza doori street. There are surprisingly many Italian/pizza restaurants in the area, which is a nice change of pace from the ubiquitous (yet delicious) seafood restaurants. Toretore ichiba is also a short bus ride away for fresh sashimi, tuna carving, and a few other restaurants. The night sky is clear and it is possible to see a few more stars than one would in the city. It is quite quiet at night so it is also possible to relax on the beach at night in peace. I'll enjoy my trip this year just before the next frisbee tournament.
