A Superior Scenic Sanctuary

点评：After a lovely walk along a section of the famous Kumano Kodo trail, we arrived to our accommodation, the Kirinosato Takahara Lodge.
Our welcome was extremely warm and hospitable - our hosts were amazingly informative and helpful.
As simple Australians we were also very impressed with the excellent quality of their English language skills - which made our various communications easy.
Our room and facilities were ‘Western’ - a good comfortable bed and a nice bathroom were just what we wanted after a long day.
We then enjoyed a delicious evening meal, which also included some yummy Western food selections. At one point the vivacious and fascinating owner of this fine establishment came and chatted to us - and even shared his amazing musical skills with the dining guests via some impressive guitar tunes he performed.
Following a good sleep, we had a great breakfast while enjoying awesome picturesque views. I cannot recommend this Lodge and location enough - the perfect sanctuary for us.
