Not really a National Park!
尖顶国家公园的点评
点评：I have been to 26 different national parks (so far), and I can easily say this is towards the bottom of the list. My daughter on her own said during the visit ‘shouldn’t this be a state park?’. I am not saying the place is not nice, but there is not just much to it, and I am assuming it became a national park 10+ years ago more for political reasons than anything else. We came from Yosemite National Park and its completely night and day so on the plus side, you do not have to worry about large crowds.
Of the nine national parks in California, this is the smallest one and there are two sections, and they are not even connected. We went to the ‘main’ side, the East end as we did not have the time to take the long detour to the West end.
One of the main attractions seems to be the Bear Gulch Cave. From the pictures, it looks nice, but it was closed when we were there to protect the bat population. Perhaps if we saw it in person, it would help the rating slightly, but you can go to other parks that have a cave like Sequoia National Park, and they have much more to offer than just that. They also say this is a place for Condors, but we never saw any. We did do some trails and on the plus side, they are marked well.
It seems the place is popular for campers, as we saw a decent amount of them and RV’s as well. They do have a nice camping store and there is a pool the kids were enjoying. However, from what we saw the camping sites were not shaded and not much to them, so it is not like you have any beautiful scenery to look at.
In conclusion, while there are several national parks I would be happy to see again, I have no desire to ever come back.

总而言之，虽然有几个国家公园我很想再次去看看，但我绝对不想再去了。
