点评:This was my second concert in a four day span having been went to an Alanis Morissette concert three days earlier at Merriweather. I absolutely love this venue at Wolf Trap. It's a national treasure. Unfortunately for me, this was only my second time getting to experience a concert here with my first being a solo outing to see and listen to Jennifer Nettles. Amazing performer that one. This time around I took my wife and we got to listen to a night of Clint Black who was celebrating the 35th anniversary of his debut album Killin' Time released in 1989.
One beer here set me back $20.50! Be aware of this going in. I was also forced to drink all of it in the concessions area as they wouldn't allow me to bring the beer to my pavilion seat. Kind of a bummer. Parking was fine here. Just allow additional time. It's a big event. There will be congestion no matter what you do. This should clearly be expected.
Since it was July 3rd, I was hoping for more of a patriotic outing. Maybe, some fireworks. Nope, there was none of that. 2 tickets to paradise under the pavilion here were $200 even.
