点评：Amazing museum of Railroading with functioning trains you can ride. Each car and engine has interesting history. The path the trains take is historical as well. Great for anyone who likes trains, families, Access is by climbing stairs into the car.
There are steam engine trains, Diesel engine trains and a Doodlebug self propelled car. Check their website for schedules, pricing, it is in Ely, NV. Other points of interest in that part of Nevada are: Great Basin National Park, Lehman Caves, Ward charcoal kilns, the towns of Pioche and Caliente. One point of interest touted by several websites is Belmont Mill . Very rarely do I adviseagai st something but for those who want a nice dirt road drive into the mountains to see ruins. Belmont Mill is not that. Not only is the distance much longer but the road is extremely dangerous and one wrong road which is easy to make the mistake of and you'll waste a ton of time , tires and brakes.
Back to the railroad museum, it was fantastic for trains enthusiasts. Travel back in time to a bygone era.
